| 1. | The users of this website acknowledge & agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions governing the access and use of website www.ajservices.com.au (hereinafter referred to as “FileTaxOnline”, “we”, “us”, and “our”). Your use of this site will mean that you accept the following terms and conditions. |
| 2. | FileTaxOnline reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions governing the online tax return preparation facility from time to time without any prior notice. |
| 3. | FileTaxOnline website referred to in these terms and conditions is owned and operated by A & J accounting under the domain name ‘FileTaxOnline’ unless it has appointed tax agents to lodge the tax returns, in which case, any reference to FileTaxOnline will be construed to include those tax agents. |
| 4. | You authorise FileTaxOnline to prepare and review your tax return and lodge it electronically based on the information provided by you. FileTaxOnline doesn’t accept any liability and responsibility arising on account of any inaccurate information that you provide while submitting information for the preparation of your tax return. |
| 5. | Neither FileTaxOnline nor its associates guarantee that the FileTaxOnline website is completely free of errors. We will notify you in the event of any errors coming to our notice during your interview or at the time of review of the information provided for preparation of tax return. |
| 6. | You agree to pay the fee as specified on the Fee & Charges page of this website as applicable to you for the use of the online taxation preparation facility provided by FileTaxOnline on this website. |
| 7. | If you choose to pay our fee from your refund, then you are deemed to have authorised FileTaxOnline to receive your refund from the Australian Tax Office, deposit the same into the trust account operated by A & J accounting. After deducting the prescribed fee and an additional $20 administration fee, FileTaxOnline will deposit the balance refund into your nominated bank account. |
| 8. | You allow us to create a database record about you which will be kept in a secure database and it will not be disclosed to any other person or party except as stated in our security and privacy statement and to the Australia Taxation Office or other organizations directed by the Australia Taxation Office. |
| 9. | Any further funds received from the Australian Taxation Office in relation to your tax return (e.g. in regards to an amendment carried out in the tax return on account of your mistake) or if any transferred refunds that have bounced back because of incorrect banking details provided by you; will also be remitted to you subject to deduction of $15 being administration fee for processing of each such transaction and you authorize FileTaxOnline to deduct this administrative fee from any such funds received. |
| 10. | You acknowledge that information provided on this website is of general nature and does not constitute accounting or tax advice in any way. General tax advice and advice on how to complete the online transaction documentation can also be sought by calling our helpline no. +61 2 9676 6566. |
| 11. | It is your obligation to provide all necessary and relevant information to enable FileTaxOnline to prepare your tax return correctly. |
| 12. | Your use of the website and the online tax return preparation facility is at your sole risk. Neither FileTaxOnline nor its associates guarantee error free or uninterrupted operation of this website. |
| 13. | FileTaxOnline is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential costs, losses or damages incurred in anyway (including but not limited to those arising from negligence), connected with the website or with the submission of your taxation return online or on account of your using the website whether your claim is based on breach of contract, breach of statute or tort (including negligence) by FileTaxOnline, its contractors, servants or agents or any third party, or otherwise. FileTaxOnline will also not be liable in respect of any loss of general profit or any kind of economic loss. |

Websites or pages to which the website has been linked; is for information only and have not been reviewed by FileTaxOnline. | 15. | You acknowledge that the tax refund may be delayed on account of number of reasons such as delay in processing on account of some inaccurate information or incomplete information, failure to provide the identification documents etc. FileTaxOnline is not liable for any such delays. |
| 16. | The copyright subsisting in all information, text, material, graphics, software, advertisements and other material on the website is owned by FileTaxOnline, its suppliers or licensors (as the case may be) unless expressly indicated otherwise on the website. |
| 17. | You will not violate or attempt to violate the security of FileTaxOnline or hack into this website, the FileTaxOnline computer systems or the computer systems of other users of this website. Hacking means unauthorised access, malicious damage and/or interference and includes mail bombing, propagating viruses, worms or other types of malicious programs, deliberate attempts to overload a computer system, broadcast attacks or any other method designed to damage or interfere with the operation of a computer system or website. |
